Objective:
Evoke empathy and activism from uninformed individuals while providing an upfront overview of how America experienced a tumultuous time in world history.
Professor: Erica Holeman
Team Member: Jaylyne Nguyen
Outcomes
Because 2020 will be taught as a defining year within world history, our team used the visual language of SATs and workbooks to express the importance of reviewing issues this year faced. Erratic mark-making is used as a motif to signify critical learning, highlight intense emotions revolving around the discussed topics, and call out the narrow-mindedness of outdated textbooks still used today. The prefix "re" is also used to feature how each issue faces some sort of refusal.
