Outcome
Similar to the timeline of the film, the beginning of the title sequence begins light and happy but is interrupted by an edgier, unfamiliar force that initiates a rollercoaster of wilder events. To achieve this I chose a tall, high-contrast serif that looked elegant in soft colors but fierce when vibrant. The juxtaposition between innocence and pleasure is carried through the music, simultaneous motion of type, and scene transitions. I made sure to study the gestures of characters and colors within the film so that this modern interpretation felt authentic to the cult classic.
