Award: First Place for Multi-Page Publications in ACUI Steal this Idea 2023 Competition.
Objective
Entice students, professors, and the greater Denton community to attend Fine Art Series events
Outcome
The brochure allows participants to find all related information about the exclusive artists being brought to campus and encourages users to collect artist signatures, cut out an artist's image, and display or store their memorabilia. Each artist is thoughtfully assigned textures and colors that help both brand their own event posters and reflect the mood of their work. These graphic elements are unified for other marketing items such as outside floor clings, giveaway t-shirts, physical and digital signage, and online event banners in order to unify the season's brand and differentiate the 118th season from past years.
Brochure Design
*1,000+ brochures printed and distributed around the UNT Union. All signatures displayed are real. Each event was highly attended with 2 being sold out and 1 almost reaching capacity. Brochures were available at office kiosks throughout the Union, at Union Arts events and pop-ups, and at the end of each artist's event for autographs.
Environmental Design
*4 floor clings were mounted outside the entrances/exits of the Union building for hundreds of people to see per day. Different patterns (as displayed below) were used for variety. Each artist also had their own lawn sign laminated and displayed around the entire campus.
Apparel Design
*500 shirts ordered and distributed as promotional items. 100 shirts were given out in a single pop-up.
